    Winter On-Street Parking Ban

The City implements the parking ban when weather conditions and snow accumulation require it for operational reasons. When it becomes necessary to implement the parking ban, notice of the effective date will be advertised. Once implemented, the parking ban usually remains in effect until the end of the winter season.

The On-Street Parking Ban applies only to streets outside the designated "Downtown" area. (The definition of "Downtown" can be found on the Winter On-Street Parking Restrictions page.)

Call the city's Downtown Snow Removal Line 576-SNOW (576-7669). This information is updated daily at 3:00 p.m. with scheduled snow removal information for that night. Vehicles must be removed from the streets scheduled for snow removal operations between 1:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. on the day(s) indicated on the Downtown Snow Removal Line.
